As SUMMIT 61’s Pathway Consultant for Europe, Alex brings firsthand experience of the US college sports system, an international background, and a strong foundation in business and marketing.

Originally from Spain, Alex developed her football career at Atlético de Madrid before moving to the United States on a soccer scholarship to compete in NCAA Division I at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Having experienced this transition herself, she understands the opportunities and challenges student-athletes may face along the way.

With a degree in Business Management and Marketing and professional experience in digital marketing, communications, and the sports and entertainment industries, Alex combines her sporting background with an international perspective.

Fluent in Spanish, German, and English, with a basic knowledge of French, she advises on European talent evaluations, international eligibility equivalencies and provides strategic support to our pathways team.

Alex is passionate about helping young athletes explore opportunities in US college sports and make informed decisions about their academic and athletic futures.
